In BC, there are some legal requirements to working within childcare. To fulfill these requirements you must:
Be 19 years of age or older
Possess at least one of the following:
Responsible Adult Certification
ECE or ECEA Certification
Completed university level course(s) in child studies
Clear a criminal record check
Have (or be willing to obtain) your First Aid & CPR level C

Working directly with children, you’ll have an opportunity to make a real impact in their daily lives. It can be a difficult, but rewarding job where you’ll get to make a genuine difference. You’ll join a fun, passionate and supportive team of other childcare professionals. We’re a social bunch, who love to celebrate our successes and hard work by hosting staff events like laser tag, sports games, movie nights, BBQs and more.

As a non-profit and community program we value the generosity of our volunteers, parent helpers and the students who offer their time.
Both CYC and ECE practicum students are encouraged to connect with us to see if the Club might be the right program for their learning.
